Letter to editor:
I would be interested in reading an analysis by Mr. Hughes of how President Bush is reacting to the Georgia situation in relation to his recent speech on democracy. I agree that his words were exciting and visionary, but am confused as to how they should lead his actions in this area.

Is anyone actually hearing what Bush is saying? csmonitor.com

Fundamentalists and brights need a common ground. These kinds of circular arguments aren't getting the country anywhere...

Hell No, They Won't Go By Bill O'Brien: "Tempers flared outside the courtroom, as a group of Moore supporters told a handful of atheists to go to hell. 'I can't,' the president of the Atheist Law Center of Montgomery says in the NYT. 'Hell doesn't exist.'"
I'm unhappy with the National Review. Frum's Nov. 12 entry, 'Forebodings', doesn't have a single supporting fact in it. Its of course a valid theory, but I've seen this class of post to often in both left and right leaning press. His Nov. 14 post is better, since it provides analysis on what may happen as a consequence of Bush's trip to London.
